The Global Container Shipping Industry is one of the worlds largest industries. It had a total value of around 12 trillion US dollars in 2017. It also accounted for around 60% of total seaborne trade. It is clearly one of the most important and most valuable industries in transit and trade.
But, the shipping industry is not without its problems, and those problems have been around for a while now. Shipping Industry suffers from overcapacity, low rates, security problems and increasing environmental regulations. Its digitalization is also long overdue.
Luckily, with the use of blockchain and cryptocurrencies the team behind BLOCKSHIPPING came up with the solution.

Today, there is over 27 million metal freight containers. BLOCKSHIPPING aims to create first digital registry that will allow everyone in industry to keep real time track of all of them. This idea has a very strong potential for the industry itself, bringing a solution to many of its problems.

The BLOCKSHIPPING platform will function on its GSCP token.
The GSCP token model involves the issuance of two tokens:
-The internal utility token, Container Platform Token - or CPT
-The external Revenue Share Token, Container Crypto Coin - or CCC.
CPT will be used for all transactions between the users of the platform. These transactions will cover services related to global container handling. And then, the small percentage of those fees will go to Revenue Share Pool and will be passed on to the owners of the CCC tokens.

The CCC token is an ERC-20 standard-based Ethereum token.
